The MRC Christmas Party is for lunch on Sunday 14th of December. Unfortunately our cordon bleur Xmas pud chef, Jan Hill , is overseas in Vietnam with her sister working at the orphanage till only 2 days before the event so will be unable to bless us with her usual puds and table decos this year - most inconsiderate , spending time with disadvantaged kids and ignoring OUR needs , Jan !! But life moves on, so we will be looking for some assistance this year to help out with the Xmas dinner , if anyone wants to put their hand up. The hot meats will be sourced by one of the local butchers who specialise in the cooking for these type of events, so it will be salads , cold meats , desserts and table decos we need a hand with ! Best we dont forget to order the jumping castle for the kids while we're at it. And we've an embarassment in riches of nominees for this year's Santa Claus - who will win that (dubious) honour this year - wont that be exciting.
